Wat neem ik mee naar een festival?

What do I bring to a festival?

We believe that preparation is the key to the perfect day at your next festival. We all know them: 'The mom/dad at a festival' . This is how you make sure that you are independent of your festival parent and are prepared when you go out.

10 things that are indispensable for your next festival

1. Your festival ticket 🎟

With bonus points if you have also thought about tickets for the lockers in advance. I hear you thinking: "Of course I have my tickets with me, they are in my mailbox", that is correct. However, it is often the case that you have little to no connection at a festival. Therefore always make sure that you have a screenshot of your ticket(s) so that you are not faced with any surprises.

2. Earplugs

Nobody wants tinnitus. Take care of your ears , wear ear protection.

3. Wallet 💳

First of all, because you have to identify yourself upon entry: Your ID. A must. Then it is not unimportant that you also take your debit card with you in case your phone dies later in the day. Despite the fact that many festivals are pin-only, it is always Handy to have cash on hand, you never know ;)

4. A practical bag

It is best to have a bag with multiple compartments. No one wants to spend hours looking for their coins when it is almost your turn to order your bottle of water.

Try to always keep coins in the same place. Another 3 bonus points if you have a Hulabag so you can store and close your water bottle in it. Time to hit the dance floor 🕺🏻

5. A cap for your water bottle

At 90% of the festivals you get your water bottle without a cap. Unfortunately but true: But it does happen that something is thrown in someone's drink with the intention of drugging unsuspecting festival goers. You can take multiple bottle caps with you in the hope that one will fit. But the real lifehack is to use a Festicap: One cap that fits on almost all bottles and does not leak. This is also included with a Hulabag with a cord so that you can't lose it. Win.

6. Sunglasses 🕶

It's just nice to be able to hide behind glasses 👀. But also for the sun yes..

7. What is needed in any weather:

Always check what the weather will be like so that you are well prepared.

🌧 : Bring a poncho, it's your best friend. If there's room in the locker, bring nice dry clothes for the way back, and don't forget socks! Thank us later.

☀️: It's always handy to have a travel size sunscreen on you so it doesn't take up too much space in your bag. You can get these at most drugstores!

8. Fan

Yesssss, the best. You can usually buy them at the festival itself, but you'd rather keep that money in your own pocket.

9. Power bank 🔋

This is especially for when your phone can no longer last a whole day on its own. If you like to wander around a festival or have made new friends again, it is useful to be able to reach your other friends. Unless you go home with the new friends and start a new life in a new city.

10. Lip balm

Always a success, and the day after you will be very happy with yourself for taking it with you.
